What you can bring, and what stays outside
The house rules in plain language — outside food, cake, party poppers, and what we handle for you instead.
ShowTime
Nobody enjoys finding out a rule at the door. These are the ones that catch people out, written plainly so they do not.
Outside food, cake and alcohol are not allowed
This is the one to read first, because it is the one people plan around by accident. Outside cake, outside food and alcohol cannot be brought in.
What we do instead: there is a full cake menu starting at ₹199, and food can be arranged — tell us what you would like when you book. Cakes need at least twelve hours' notice because they are made to order, so add it at booking time rather than on the day.
Party poppers and spray cans are not allowed
They damage the room and set off the alarms. This one is not negotiable and it is not about tidiness.
The good news is that everything in that category, done properly, is something we set up for you. Confetti is available. Fog entry is ₹1,990 and gives you the effect people are actually after when they bring a spray can.
What you can bring
Your own content. Any movie or OTT title you like — sign in to your own account and it goes on the screen. That includes anything you have made yourself, which is what most memory videos and proposal montages end up being.
Your own photographs, if you want them printed and put up. A memory photowall is ₹500 and it is set up before you arrive, so hand the photos over when you book rather than carrying them in.
How many people
Up to fourteen across our rooms. ShowTime Max holds ten and ShowTime Mini holds six in Pondicherry; Marthandam holds six, with a charge if you exceed it.
Book on your actual headcount. A room at capacity is comfortable; a room over capacity is not, and it is the one thing that cannot be fixed once everyone has arrived.
Timing and payment
Rooms are open from 9am to 1.30am. Minimum booking length depends on what you are doing: three hours for a movie, two for PS5 gaming at Pondicherry, two hours for a celebration in Pondicherry and three in Marthandam. Eight hours is the longest single booking.
Half the total is paid as an advance and the slot is held once that is received. The balance is settled at the venue.
Where we are
Pondicherry, Marthandam and Chennai are all open. Chennai is at Tambaram, with three screens.
